Dance Team Goes Viral with 'Bovine' Performance

HALLSVILLE, TX, (WATE) - "Moo"ve on over, Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. There's a new cowboy, er, cowgirl in town.

The Hallsville Bobcat Belles, who hail from Hallsville, Texas, performed a routine at a dance competition dressed as cows. The Belles pirouetted, leaped and even twerked to a variety of songs, including Kelis' "Milkshake," Dirty Dancing's "Time of my Life" and Sesame Street's "Proud to be a Cow."

The performance is simply bovine. Once the four-minute video was posted to Facebook, it immediately took off, racking up nearly 10 million views as of Thursday afternoon.

"We'd hoped it would bring joy to our audience, but never expected it to go viral to an even bigger audience, but we hope it makes them smile as well!" Kathryn Calaway, the group's instructor told GuideLive. "We're excited for them to have their well deserved moment in the spotlight."

Hallsville, which is located between Dallas and Shreveport, Louisiana just off Interstate 20, is a town of just over 4,100 people -- and a few cows.
