Sheriff Searches for 2 Suspects After Putnam County Armed Robbery

TEAYS VALLEY, WV (WOWK) - The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is searching for two suspects after an armed robbery last week.

According to PCSD, two white men confronted the manager of Lisa’s Gambling Parlor, at 4009 Teays Valley Road in Teays Valley, West Virginia, at around 4:25 AM on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018.

According to Sheriff Steve Deweese, the two men, wearing tan ski masks, came up to the vehicle and demanded money. One of the men was brandishing a gun.

Sheriff Deweese says that the two men then escorted the manager back inside the business and demanded the manager to open the safe.

The suspects are described as men, around 5’-10” to 5’-11” tall, weigh around 155 to 160 pounds, last seen wearing blue jeans with a tan mask covering their face.

PCSD says that the suspects then ran out the back door with an undisclosed amount of money.
