The closure will allow crews to build an overhead pedestrian walkway to Marshall's new biotech center.
Third Avenue in Huntington between Hal Greer Boulevard and 20th Street will be closed from Saturday night through 6 a.m. Monday.
The closure will allow crews to build an overhead pedestrian walkway to Marshall University's new Robert C. Byrd Biotechnology Science Center.
All traffic will be detoured to 6th Avenue.
Only two lanes of Third Avenue will reopen Monday as construction continues on the north side of the one-way street.
