State police investigate crash.

CHARLESTON -- A one-vehicle accident claimed the life of a Dawes man at about 2:30 this afternoon on Cabin Creek Road, state police said.

Steven Grounds died after his truck left the roadway and rolled twice.

State police said Grounds was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck.

Police have not reported the cause of the accident.
