Charleston Police Searching For Missing Man
Posted Tuesday, January 8, 2008 ; 03:47 PM | View Comments | Post Comment

Shawn Louis Smith
Man has been missing for two months.

Police on Tuesday were searching for a missing Charleston man.

Shawn Louis Smith, 28, of 4616 Primrose Drive was last seen on October 29 at his cousin’s home on Clay Avenue, according to a release from city police.

Shawn did not make contact with anyone from his family over the holidays.

"This is very uncharacteristic of him as he does most of the cooking during that time. He also has family in Indiana and Illinois but they have not seen or heard from him either," the release said.

Police said there is no reason to suspect foul play at this point, but family and friends have become increasingly concerned for his well-being.
