HUNTINGTON -- Two men suspected of killing a Huntington minister face a judge in a Columbus, Ohio courtroom.

Stephen Wilson of Cincinnati and Daniel Smith, of Newport News, Virginia were arrested at the Greyhound bus station in Columbus Friday June 27.

Wednesday morning, both men appeared in court, waiving extradition back to West Virginia.

Both men face first degree murder charges in the June 19th shooting death of Mark McCalla.

McCalla, 48, was found shot to death at the shooting range near Beech Fork Lake.

Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff's office will transport both suspect back to Wayne County in the next few days.

Meanwhile, deputies, state troopers, and Huntington police officers are searching the area near the crime scene at the Beech Fork Lake Wildlife Management area.

Wayne County Sheriff David Pennington said during the investigation, they received information that McCalla's wallet was thrown along the road near the shooting range.
