SISSONVILLE -- An afternoon blaze leaves a local couple homeless.
Fire raged through a trailer on Allen Fork Road in Sissonville just after 3 p.m. Saturday.
Sissonville firefighters say bridge construction on Route 21 caused a major delay in their response.
The South Jackson Volunteer Fire Department was also called to the scene.
The man and woman who lived in the home were not injured and plan to stay with relatives.
They do need clothing and household goods. If you would like to help contact your local Red Cross.
