CHARLESTON -- The controverial drug testing bill is gaining more community support.
Wednesday afternoon during a press conference, a couple spoke out supporting the measure.
If passed, the bill would require random drug testing for folks on unemployment, welfare and what was formerly food stamps.
Brian and Mitzy Caldwell -- both formerly drug adicts -- say many folks sell their food stamps for drugs and this bill could prevent that from happening.
"Hopefully it will change a lot of people that are out there doing drugs, like, make them open their minds and see what open their eyes and see what's going on, that they are doing something wrong," said former drug addict, Brian Caldwell, Sr.
Delegate Craig Blair says the bill is still currently in judiciary. No word if *or when* it will hit the floor.
