HUNTINGTON -- A group of twenty Herd4Christ members will be traveling this weekend to Pleasant Plain, OH, to volunteer for Mid-Western Children’s Home.

The Children’s Home offers group homes, adoption services, and foster care for underprivileged children. During this work trip, Herd4Christ members will be involved in a variety of work activities needed on the campus, including clearing brush, painting, mowing, and more.

Joining Herd4Christ for the weekend of hard work, devotionals, and games will be college-aged Christians from campus ministries in Athens, Marietta, and Rio Grande, OH. On Sunday, Herd4Christ members will visit the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, OH, before returning to Huntington. This is the fourth year Herd4Christ has participated in the annual work trip.

More information about Mid-Western Children’s Home is available at its website, www.mid-western.org.

Herd4Christ meets at 9:15 p.m. every Tuesday on Marshall’s campus, in room 2W16 of the Memorial Student Center, for singing, Bible study, and prayer. The group has many other activities for its students throughout the week at various locations. They participate in at least one service activity each month.

For more information, contact Dan Hager, campus ministry intern, at (304) 545-6010.
