Students from Hamlin Elementary School in Lincoln County will have the opportunity to experience the Marshall Recreation Center after winning a healthy lifestyle contest at their school earlier this year.

The Healthy Rivalry project was sponsored by Marshall University, the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, the Robert C. Byrd Center for Rural Health and the Lincoln Primary Care Center.

Sixty-seven students are expected to attend the morning’s activities which include a variety of games at the rec center and lunch at the Memorial Student Center.
