WINFIELD -- The Putnam County School Board is set to consider a date for voters to consider a school bond referendum on Saturday, August 29th.
The bond is expected to generate $56-million for 8 school building projects across the county, including a new Buffalo High School and Poca Elementary and Middle School.
If voters approve the bond, school spokesperson Karen Noviskie says the School Building Authority will add another $21-million for a new Winfield Middle School.
