It's back to Plan A for Nitro's heavy hitter.
Matt Frazer says thanks, but no thanks, after Kansas City drafted him in round 26 of last week's Major League Baseball Draft.
Unless the deal was one he absolutely could not refuse, Frazer said he thought college was always the best course of action for him.
So, he'll honor his original commitment to play for Coach Van Zant's West Virginia University Mountaineers.
Van Zant will be getting a big lefty bat too.
Frazer hit over .400 and cranked 11 homeruns this past season, despite receiving the intentional free pass, several times over.
