Meeks Makes Way to Milwaukee

UK's sharpshooter selected in second round of Thursday's NBA Draft.

By Jared Fialko

It may've taken a little longer than he hoped, but Kentucky's Jodie Meeks found an NBA Home on Thursday night.

The same home as former WVU star Joe Alexander.

The Milwaukee Bucks selected the UK sharpshooter in the second round, with the 41st overall pick.

The 6'4" shooting guard averaged 23.7 points per game in 2008-09, best in the SEC.

Undoubtedly his finest performance came January 13th against Tennessee.

A night the Volunteers will never forget for all the wrong reasons.

Jodie simply could not miss, as he broke Dan Issel's single-game school scoring record (a mark that stood for 39 years) with 54 points.

He set another program benchmark with 10 three-pointers.
