Deputies release name of victim.

CHARLESTON -- Kanawha County deputies are investigating a stabbing in the area of Miami, near Cabin Creek.

Deputies said it happened Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m.

Deputies say Charles Holbrook, 36, from Miami, was stabbed twice after he and another male subject got into argument on the railroad tracks in the Miami area.

Holbrook was stabbed once in the arm and once in the leg and was transported by ambulance to CAMC General.

The subject and witnesses appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation is continuing at this time.
