Armed Robbery Reported at KY Convenience Store

Suspect showed store clerk a small pocket knife, troopers said.

META, KY -- Kentucky State police are investigating an armed robbery at a Pike County convenience store.

It happened just after 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Double Kwik in Meta, Kentucky.

Troopers said a man came into the store with a small pocket knife and demanded cash.

The suspect left on foot, heading towards Kimper.

The suspect is described as wearing light colored blue jeans, a green hoodie and work boots. No other information was given.

The investigation continues.
