The new technology could have a major impact on energy, environment and business.
SOUTH CHARLESTON -- West Virginia's first carbon capture pilot plant was dedicated Thursday morning.
A company called Alstom teamed up with Dow Chemical to design and build a pilot plant. The facility will capture carbon dioxide from the flu gas of a coal-fired boiler at the Dow facility in South Charleston. Dow will provide the site and utilities, as well as, chemicals.
