The Winfield volleyball team will host a match between Wayne and South Charleston on Monday as part of the Dig Pink Rally.

WINFIELD -- A local High School is joining thousands in a nation wide effort to promote breast health education.
The Winfield High School volleyball team is hosting a game between Wayne and South Charleston on Monday, Oct. 26. The athletes are joining other schools across the country in the "Dig Pink National Cancer Awareness Rally" to raise money for cancer research.
The junior varsity match starts at 5:30 p.m., and the varsity match starts at 6:30 p.m. Both match will be held at Winfield High School.
Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children. People are asked to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness month. Dig Pink t-shirts will be sold throught the evening.
During each match, there will be special events, presentations by breast cancer survivors, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing.
The profits will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, an organization that raises money for cancer research.
