IRONTON, Ohio -- Ohio's all-time winning-est high school football coach chalked up another playoff win.

Bob Lutz's Fighting Tigers took total control over Sparta Highland, blanking the Scots, 36-0, at Tanks Memorial Stadium.

Ironton carried a 22-0 lead into the locker room before quickly piling on two more third quarter touchdowns, courtesy of runs from J.P. Taylor and Tyler Hager.

Midway through the third quarter, Lutz pulled his starters out, but the second-stringers held up their half of the bargain as well, completing the shutout.

The Tigers hit the road to play Heath next.

The Bulldogs outmatched Zane Trace from Chillicothe, 48-9.

The destination of the game between Ironton and Heath is still to be determined.

The second round of OHSAA playoffs must be held at a neutral site.
