MAN -- West Virginia's top-ranked Class-A squad, the Man Hillbillies, will get what they were gunning for all season long: a home-field advantage.

The Hillbillies secured the second seed in the I-A playoff picture by knocking off Matewan on Saturday night.

Running back Andrew Hale started the scoring, quarterback Ryan Crum followed suit, and the Hillbillies emerged victorious, 56-6.

While the loss eliminated Matewan, it did benefit another part of Mingo County.

The Hillbillies win helped Gilbert sneak into the playoffs.

The Lions earned the No. 16 seed and a trip to the Northern Panhandle to tango with Weirton-Madonna.
