CHELYAN -- A car was struck by a train in eastern Kanawha County.
Kanawha County dispatchers said it happened at about 10:15 p. m. Tuesday at the Coal Grove railroad crossing off route 61 in Chelyan.
The train apparently hit the car and pushed it down the tracks for some time.
No injuries were reported.
Route 61 was re-opened to traffic at 12:45 a. m. Wednesday.
