CHARLESTON -- Kanawha County board members voted five to zero to close Bonham Elementary Thursday night.

Bonham has been plagued by flooding for years prompting many early dismissals, missed school days and expensive cleanups.

Fifth graders will attend Sissonville Middle School the rest of the students will go to Flinn Elementary. Both Flinn and Sissonville Middle will undergo a multi-million dollar expansion before the new students arrive.
