HUNTINGTON -- Volunteers at the A.D. Lewis Center in Huntington spent the morning unloading turkeys and hams for Thanksgiving.
500 turkeys and 500 hams were donated by former Huntington High Basketball standout O.J. Mayo.
Huntington Firefighters also helped stack the birds which will be distributed to the local community.
The center opens at 9 a.m. Saturday to distribute the goods on a first come first served basis.
They say things like this make a good impression on the community.
