Jim Lett has been hired as the bullpen coach for the Washington Nationals.

WINFIELD -- Jim Lett, 58, Winfield native, has been hired by the Washington Nationals as the new bullpen coach. This will be Lett's 15th season as a coach in the Major League, according to a Washington Nationals press release.
Lett has managed the 1990 Charleston Wheelers and was the hitting coach in 2008 for the W. Va. Power. His Major League experience includes coaching positions for the Reds, Blue Jays, Dodgers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Lett has been involved in professional baseball as a player, coach, manager and executive for the last 35 seasons, according to the press release.
