MORGANTOWN -- Black Friday is just a few days away.

People will be able to find bargains on just about anything, including automobiles.

"It's always a big day of the year," said Andy Claydon, owner of University Motors in Morgantown. "We expect a lot of people to come in, we expect to do big deals quite quickly and therefore we're willing to negotiate very quickly in order to get the maximum number of cars out on that day,"

According to customer reports at Truecar.com, car buyers usually pay 4.7 percent less than sticker price on an average day.

Discounts the day after Thanksgiving are anticipated to be 7.5 percent off the sticker price.

John Howard Motors sales manager Chris Azzaro said that although they offer good deals every day, the Black Friday buying frenzy does spill over to car sales.

"Black Friday is the day that sets the tone for the holiday shopping season, it sets the tone for the manufacturers, it sets the tone for the dealership," said Azzaro.

Having the keys to a brand new car under the Christmas tree may be more affordable than you think.

If you're in the market to buy a new car, dealers say now is the time to receive the most sayings.

"After all the Turkey and people go out shopping, moms to the stores to shop and the dads love to look for cars." said Claydon.

Dealers are trying to move their 2009 models and build momentum for the end of the year.

So instead of waiting in line for a new computer or flat screen television, heading to the car lot might save you the most this holiday season.

John Howard Motors' Subaru Share the Love event is going on and University Motors' Toyotathon begins this week.
