Kanawha County dispatchers told us flame could be seen through the roof.

ST. ALBANS -- Firefighters battled flames in St. Albans just after midnight Wednesday.

Kanawha County dispatchers said the fire was reported at 12:20 a.m. at 625 Chestnut St.

Dispatchers said they believe everyone was able to get out to the house safely.
