Pair allegedly traded hydrocodone, diazepam and butalbital while awaiting hearing on unrelated case.
MADISON -- Two Boone County women are now facing drug charges - but what makes the story unique is where they were arrested.
Samantha Cain of Jeffrey and Angel Curry of Ottawa, both 25, were arrested in a courtroom while awaiting a hearing on other charges.
Officers say they saw the pair trading prescription drugs - including hydrocodone, diazepam and butalbital.
Both women have been charged with three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, and one count of conspiracy.
