TEAYS VALLEY -- Putnam County is getting a university. Strayer University is setting up a campus in Teays Valley. It officially opens on Wednesday. The university offers both online and classroom curriculum. University officials said they're expansion in West Virginia is sparked by statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau.
According to the Census Bureau, 32% of adults in Charleston have a college degree, while statewide that figure is 14%.
