Shelter in place has been lifted.
LUCASVILLE, OH -- An amonia leak near the Lucasville Bottoms area in Scioto county prompted authorities to issue a shelter in place Wednesday morning.
The leak happened just after 7 a.m. Wednesday. It is coming from a tanker truck parked near the Cherokee Bingo Hall.
It reportedly had residue inside that was leaking. Hazmat responded to the scene and contained the leak. The shelter in place was lifted at about 11 a. m.
Scioto County Sheriff's department and Valley Fire department also responded to the scene.
There have been no reports of injuries or people suffering from exposure.
