GALLIPOLIS, Ohio --

An arrest has been made in a pharmacy robbery in Gallipolis, Ohio.
According to a news release from Gallipolis City Police, Zachary Allen Halley, 22, of Gallipolis, was arrested Nov. 15.
Investigators said they believe Halley is responsible for the Nov. 14 robbery at the Dollar General Store.
Halley was charged with one count of aggravated robbery. He is the Gallia County Jail pending an initial appearance in Gallipolis Municipal Court.

According to a press release issued by the Gallipolis Police Department, officers responded responded to a robbery at the Dollar General store, located at 312 Second Ave., at 8:14 p.m. Nov. 14.
The press release states that a male came in, went to the counter to purchase an item, then pulled a knife on the cashier.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money, then fled the scene.
According to the press release, the suspect was wearing a red “Ohio State” hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, and a dark, possibly camouflage ball cap. He also appeared to have long sideburns.
