LEBANON, Ohio (AP) - A southwest Ohio man convicted of participating in the fatal beating of a 16-year-old drug dealer has been sentenced to life in prison. Michael Watson was convicted by a jury of murder and other charges in the death of Dione Payne in December.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A former Ohio prison inmate who was hit and partly run over by a state vehicle has settled a personal injury lawsuit for $10,000. Christopher Jackson says he was cutting grass in 2010 when he was struck at Lebanon Correctional Institution. Jackson says he didn't receive proper medical treatment for ten days.

MASON, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio amusement park says it has set a record for the most heads shaved simultaneously. Kings Island says 213 heads were shaved today by hair stylists at the park in Mason. The event is part of the park's effort to raise awareness money to fight cancer.

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say a tractor-trailer driver has died after he crashed into Tony Packo's, the Ohio hot dog eatery in Toledo made famous on the TV series "M-A-S-H." No one was inside the restaurant at the time. The man's name has not been released.
