CHICAGO (AP) - Homer Bailey pitched six scoreless innings at friendly Wrigley Field for his first win of the season and Jay Bruce homered and doubled as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Chicago Cubs 8-2 Sunday. Zack Cozart hit a two-run homer for Cincinnati, which took two of three this weekend from the Cubs.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas scored early and got strong pitching to hold off Vanderbilt 3-1 in Southeastern Conference college baseball. The Razorbacks scored once in the first inning of Sunday's game in Fayetteville on a bases loaded walk and added two runs in the fifth.

CHICAGO (AP) - Nene dominated with 24 points, Trevor Ariza scored 18, and the Washington Wizards rallied from 13 down to beat the Chicago Bulls 102-93 in their playoff opener Sunday night. John Wall scored 16 in his postseason debut.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Denard Span hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning and the Washington Nationals, with Bryce Harper back in the lineup, rallied past the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2 Sunday. The Nationals loaded the bases in the ninth against Seth Maness when Danny Espinosa singled with one out for his third hit, Jose Lobaton singled through the right side of the infield and pinch hitter Nate McLouth walked.
