Sarah Lieu is the executive producer for WOWK-TV. Sarah is a native of Baltimore, Md., and covered consumer news at WOWK-TV beginning in 1996.

Her stint at the station has also included being an assignment editor and general assignment reporter. Sarah has over 20 years of experience in television, five years in radio and six years in government.

The 1979 graduate of Towson State University has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism. During her career, she has worked as an anchor, reporter, producer, writer and assignment editor at stations in Baltimore and Annapolis, Md.; Fairfax, Va.; Lancaster, Pa.; and Clarksburg, W.Va.

Along the way, she has won a number of awards and honors, including special recognition for a documentary on sexual child abuse, an education series and an investigative series on school bus violations. When she is not busy covering the news, Sarah spends time with her husband at their home in Charleston.

Although she grew up in a Chinese restaurant, Sarah assures that it actually is against the city health department regulations for her to cook, and her husband mans the kitchen in a desperate act of self-preservation. She can't cook worth a darn, but she does enjoy eating!
