This is a fantastic move for the university and one that will give us stability and credibility for years to come.
Credit school President Jim Clements, Athletic Director Oliver Luck and
the Board of Governors for making this transition a reality.
These men knew they could not be passive and hope for the best.
They were aggressive, dedicated and devoted and even when things might
have looked a little bleak, they soldiered on and never lost focus.
This is good for the school, good for the state and is just further
proof that when we put aside our differences and work together, we can
accomplish amazing things.
