Police Arrest 1 in Putnam Nail Salon Robbery, 2nd Suspect Still at Large

Police have captured one of two suspects in an armed robbery at the Top Nails Salon in Teays Valley Friday.

Charleston police officers arrested Cuong Trong Hyunh Saturday night in Charleston.

Officers said that Hyunh is also a suspect in a robbery at a nail salon in Huntington recently.

The second suspect in the Top Nails Salon robbery is still on the run according to police.

The man deputies believe robbed a nail salon Friday morning has warrants out for his arrest for crimes in Huntington. 

Cuong Trong Hyunh, 24, of Cross Lanes, is the man deputies told 13News they believe held up a nail salon at gunpoint. Deputies said Hyunh did not get away with any money. 

Hyunh was last seen driving a 2011 white Toyota Camry with West Virginia license plate number 7UU892.

Deputies with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department are looking for a man who held up a nail salon Friday morning. 

A Vietnamese man with a gun walked into Top Nails salon at Liberty Square shopping plaza in Hurricane just after 10:30 a.m.

Dispatchers said the man was attempting to rob the nail salon. Deputies are looking for the man now and believe he is driving a white car. 

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
