Charleston - Huntington, West Virginia -- WOWK -- 13NewsBoone County Family Loses Home in Fire

A family in Boone County is without a home for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

Boone County 911 dispatchers told 13News firefighters went to a house that was nothing but flames about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday on Old Country Road in Racine. 

A firefighter was injured while fighting the fire and was taken to the hospital. 

The family made it out of the home OK and was able to stay with family.
