A woman died in a fiery crash in Wood County on Friday night.

Dispatchers said the accident happened on Interstate 77, just south of Mineral Wells just after 7 p.m.

A car and an SUV crash in the southbound lanes and then the car caught fire according to authorities.

The driver of the car died, but the driver and passenger in the SUV were not seriously injured.
