Charleston - Huntington, West Virginia -- WOWK -- 13NewsWoman Falls from Bridge in Logan County

A woman fell off a bridge in Logan County and is currently in the hospital.

Deputies said it happened around 7:45 p.m. Monday Dec. 5 on the Henlawson Bridge.

The 36-year-old woman was found on the creek ban below the bridge and severely injured. She did not land in the water, but on the embankment instead.

The name of the woman has not been released but she was taken to Logan Regional before being moved to Charleston Area Medical Center.

There was no word on her condition and the incident is under investigation.
