It was Dec. 14, 2007. That was the last time anyone saw Leah Hickman alive. Four years ago, she was a Marshall University journalism student. Now she's at the center of a murder mystery.
A week after Hickman was reported missing, police found her body. She'd been strangled, wrapped in plastic and stuffed into the crawl space of her apartment building in Huntington.
That's when the murder investigation began. Today, the case is still unsolved.
Huntington police are still looking for clues and following the evidence though.
Investigators hope that someone will come forward with information that leads to an arrest and closure for Hickman's family.
