No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million

Hard work and dedication in the weight room may seem like a simple task, but for Sissonville's Trent Stowers it makes all the difference in the paint.
The junior forward has already recorded three double-doubles for the boys basketball team. Stowers not only plays basketball but is just coming off football season for the Indians.
"Trent could be a five-sport athlete if he wanted to be," said head coach Rich Skeen. "But he chose football and basketball and I think he can excel at the next level with either sport."
Stowers also maintains a 3.5 GPA in the classroom and his goal this season on the court is to get back to being a state contender for his team.
