HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -

Police arrested two people Wednesday afternoon after a drug bust in Huntington.

Officers from the Huntington Police Drug Unit, the Violent Crimes Task Force and Barboursville Police raided the home in the 2800 block of South Staunton Road after receiving tips about drug activity.

Gregory Easterling, 37, from Detroit and Christina Walker, 28, of Huntington were arrested after officers found a large quantity of heroin and marijuana inside.

Neighbors said the FBI and DEA were involved, and used a nearby home as a command center as officers used flash grenades and stormed the house.

Witnesses said at least two guard dogs were used by the drug dealers for protection, and that there were children living inside.

Neighbors said there was frequent activity late at night at the home, and that Easterling was considered a 'major player' in Huntington's drug market.
