"Ready, set…hike!"

Kristofer may be on WVU's practice field now... "I want to be a football player," he said.

But he plans to be playing on the real field in the future.

"Who do you want to play for?" I asked. "Steelers." "What about in college?" "This team."

He's a sharp kid who picks up on plays quick; but he's also wanting to be on a different kind of team. A home team.

"What would it mean if you found a mom and a dad?" I asked him. "That they really do love me, that's why they took me. They care about me."

Kristofer has more than just football talent. He can play the drums, guitar and sing. He even sang for us!

"It's a song my grandparents taught me. It was from Michael Jackson when he was a little kid. ABC…easy as 123…Mama take care of me! Daddy drinks old ice tea…"

A natural-born performer, Kristofer even hams it up for us with his Michael Jackson moves.

"Ow!"

"What do you want people to know about you?" I asked him. "That I'm smart, I'm intelligent, and I'll do anything my parents say. Except jump off a bridge."

"So if you found a mom and a dad, what are some of the things you'd want to do with them?" I asked. "Go to wrestle mania with them, make them go to my football practice, I want to go to church, I want to go to school and I want to go sometimes to the zoo and stuff."

He'd love a big family, with brothers, sisters, dogs and cats; and says he can be helpful around the house.

"I like picking up trash and washing dishes."

And in the meantime, he's working on his football moves, and practicing his "Dougie."

"Teach me how to Dougie! Why? 'Cause all the girls love me!"
