Charleston - Huntington, West Virginia -- WOWK -- 13NewsApartment building fire reported in South Charleston

Just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday, dispatchers in Kanawha County reported a fire in an apartment building in South Charleston.

According to dispatch, the fire is at a building located at 109 1st Ave. and that people were inside the building as crews responded to the scene.

There were no injuries reported but one pet did die in the fire.

Officials said the building seems to be a total loss but no word yet on what caused the fire.
