The St. Albans Police Department is looking for some new recruits.
The city is now taking applications from now until February 17.
Those who apply have to pass a physical and written exam - then go to the West Virginia State Police Academy.
A couple of the benefits include getting a take home car and a pension plan, but it also includes some challenges. "This is not a easy job to do no matter who you're working for. It's a job that requires you make split decision choices and in hindsight get picked apart. Not just anybody can do that," said Capt. James Agee.
The department is hiring at least two officers, but hoping for three.
They openings are a result of recent retirements.
