The Marshall women's basketball team continued it's slide with a loss Sunday against Tulane, 68-52.
Once again, a slum by the Thundering Herd (12-8, 3-4) toward the end of the first half helped the Green Wave (15-5, 4-3) lock up a win.
Marshall led 22-15 with six minutes to play in the half but fell into a scoreless drought as Tulane took a 31-22 advantage into the break.
The Green Wave lead by as many as 25 points in the second half.
No players for the Herd hit double figures but were led by freshman guard Shay Weaver with nine points.
After a pair of road games, Marshall will return home Thursday, Feb. 2 to face Rice at 7 p.m. at the Cam Henderson Center.
