There are lots of dating websites that bring people together,
but how about one that tells you what went wrong?
That's one of the mysteries of life.
Well, there's now an "app" for that to help you find out.
There's nothing like dating to turn us into irrational human beings.
So, who hasn't had a date just one day disappear without a trace?
Enter: WotWentWrong.
The video clip on the site asks "Wouldn't it be nice if they can tell her why they lost interest so she doesn't repeat the same mistakes again? "
Turns out, it's a scenario played out all around the world. Audrey Melnik lives in Australia and created WotWentWrong.
"You don't have a really good way, or socially acceptable way, of finding out why you never hear from them again. So, I wanted to find way to provide this for people,? Said Melnik, WotWentWrong CEO.
Basically, you sign up. The site supplies a number of templates to help you send a feedback request to your date. Your former date then sends response back to you. They'll be rewarded for their feedback, and you can move on.
Melnik says response has been tremendous. In a 48-hour period, the site received about 10,000 hits.
"Especially from women," said Melnik. "Women say this is really good. This is a constructive way to find out what went wrong so you can learn from those mistakes and try not to repeat them in the future," she said.
Call it the digital equivalent of the friend that was the go-between for a couple.
Some may see this as stalking, or perhaps a situation that's better left unsaid.
For others, WotWentWrong just might be right for them.
