
Marshall need a win against Tulsa on Saturday night to keep pace with Southern Miss and Memphis in the top of the Conference USA Standings.
Unfortunately, the Thundering Herd took another step backwards.
For the 6th time in the last seven games, Marshall failed to pull out a
Tulsa led by seven at halftime and never looked back.
The Golden Hurricane blows past the Herd, 79-70.
DeAndrea Kane led Marshall with 21 points.
With the loss, Marshall drops to 5-4 in conference play.
The Herd is still winless on the road C-USA play and it the schedule doesn't get any easier.
Marshall travels to UCF (17-6, 6-3) and faces former head coach Donnie Jones on Wednesday.
The Knights have won nine of their last 12 games.
