On Saturday, many beat the winter blues with a beach party to support Hospice of Huntington.
It was the fourth year for the event and every year, the party gets bigger and bigger. Tickets quickly sold out with over 400 in attendance.
Attendees got to play volleyball, listen to a live band, and danced the night away- all to support a great cause.
"We will raise over 10 thousand dollars in support of our patient care. We are really happy that the community has come out to support this event," said Shelly Betz of Hospice of Huntington.
The beach party has traditionally been held at the Veteran's Memorial Field house, but Hospice will have to find another venue when it will be torn down later this year.
