The future of the Marshall football program is looking bright.

Head Coach Doc Holliday inked 30 new recruits, including 12 from the state of Florida last week.

Florida and Texas are considered to be the hot beds when it comes to top-notch high school football players. After all, current Herd quarterbacks Rakeem Cato, A.J. Graham and with 29 other current Herd players hail from the Sunshine state.

Holliday said it's crucial to recruit Florida, not just to compete with Florida, Florida State and Miami, but to sign the best of best from every corner of the state.
