Sheriff's deputies arrested a Kanawha
County man Friday night on charges
stemming from a domestic violence incident.
Jackie Deusenberry, 54, was charged with witness tampering
and being a convicted felon in possession of firearms, according to a news
release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies arrived at Deusenberry's home at 8080 Campbell's
Creek Drive at about 9 p.m.
Friday after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance, the news release
states. There, deputies overheard an argument in which Deusenberry threatened
to harm his wife.
After deputies intervened, they discovered Duesberry has a
.22-caliber rifle and a .223-caliber rifle and ammunition. A criminal history
check revealed that Deusenberry has been convicted in 1995 of attempted murder
and malicious wounding.
Deusenberry was taken to the South Central Regional Jail.
