HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -

Huntington Police need your help to find a man accused of beating a handicapped person with an aluminum baseball bat.

Police are looking for Edward Dreyfuse, 45, who is also known as "Jessie".

Earlier this month police said Dreyfuse broke into Otis Clay's home on Washington Avenue and beat him 12 times with an aluminum baseball bat.

As a result Clay is now in coma at St. Mary's Medical Center.  Police said Dreyfuse has a history of violence.

"He's been in prison for felonious assault and he has a history here in West Virginia and in Ohio for multiple domestic violence charges and resisting arrest from police," said Detective Robert Stinnett of the Huntington Police Department.

Stinnett said Dreyfuse should be considered dangerous.  If you have any information on the whereabouts of Edward Dreyfuse, you are asked to call the Huntington Police Department at 304-696-4470.
